Hi again, FLFers!

This is a very exciting opportunity, and FLF members get the first crack!

The Canadian Journal of Women and the Law/Revue Femmes et Droit is an internationally renowned peer-reviewed scholarly publication, currently based here at Robson Hall. The CJWL publishes academic papers from a variety of disciplines, but maintains a focus on feminist legal analysis in the Canadian context. The journal is currently seeking student volunteers to assist in an editorial capacity (primarily cite checking). This will be a great way to brush up on academic writing skills, get better acquainted with the Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation (known oh-so-affectionately as ‘the McGill Guide’) and will undoubtedly look great on your C.V.

The work load won’t be huge (no more than one article per term), and the topics tend to be really interesting! Orientation/training will likely be taking place in the next week or two.

If you are interested (even if it’s just for more info), please contact student editor Eli Mitchell at cjwl@cc.umanitoba.ca
